SILENT. INVISIBLE. INVINCIBLE. HE’S IN TOWN WITH A FEW DAYS TO KILL.
Los Angeles, 1997; as drug cartels battle each other in the streets, cop Mike Harrigan (Danny Glover) learns that a mysterious, deadly creature is getting involved. The sequel to Predator (1987) changes the Central American jungle for another type of wilderness. A new scenery is a good idea, but the film never really turns into anything better than a loud, generic action movie, lacking the tension of the original. Still, Alan Silvestri’s score is once again an asset and the predator gets a few effective moments to spill blood.
