25 YEARS AGO THE WORLD’S GREATEST HERO VANISHED.

Decades after two brothers with superpowers were presumably killed in an explosion in Granite City, a 13-year-old boy (Javon ”Wanna” Walton) who’s obsessed with the mythology believes that he’s found one of them alive. No one escapes the superhero craze, not even Sylvester Stallone; he’s fine as the aging hero who’s trying in vain to hide his powers from the world. Pitting good versus evil (with a twist near the end), the film is often kid-friendly, with much of the bloodshed happening off-screen. OK action, but too bland to get anyone excited.
