THE WORLD NEEDED A HERO. IT GOT BLACK ADAM.

When the powerful Teth-Adam (Dwayne Johnson) is reawakened after thousands of years, a team of superheroes is sent to capture him, but it’s easier said than done. Instead of incorporating him into Shazam! (2019), Black Adam got his own stand-alone movie, which starts out promisingly with an explosive introduction of the godlike character. Lorne Balfe has written a muscular music theme and Johnson is right for the lead… but the other superheroes look like Marvel leftovers and the film degenerates into the usual noise.
