65 million years ago, a pilot (Adam Driver) leaves his home on the planet Somaris and crash-lands in an alien world dominated by large reptiles; the only other survivor is a young girl (Ariana Greenblatt). Setting an adventure film a short while before the most famous meteorite hit in history is an intriguing idea. Written by the guys who brought us A Quiet Place (2018), the film subjects the pilot and his protégé to all kinds of intimidating dinosaurs and critters. Hampered by so-so visual effects and storytelling.
