THE LAST RIDE.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his extended ”family” are hunted by a new enemy (Jason Momoa) whose beef with them stretches back to their days in Rio de Janeiro. The tenth chapter in this series is the first part of a very lengthy, intended farewell that ends with a bunch of cliffhangers and at least one promising cameo. The film introduces the son of a Fast Five villain who, in Momoa’s portrait, struts like a peacock, a flamboyant Joker to Diesel’s Batman. Along with an insane bomb chase, it’s a fun ingredient in this overpopulated, silly entry.

Trivia: Co-produced by Diesel and Lin; the latter was also first set to direct, but quit. James Wan, F. Gary Gray and David Leitch were considered to replace him.
