This limited series, premiering shortly after WandaVision, also reconnected with Avengers: Endgame (2019), presenting new challenges for two of the Avengers: Bucky (Sebastian Stan), the former Winter Soldier, trying to reconcile with his past, and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) being sidelined as the next Captain America. We also have a new threat in the form of anarchists who have been enforced with a Super Soldier serum. There’s enough slam-bang action to keep you entertained; the writing is uneven, but the attempt to talk about racism and the need for Black heroes is effective.
